Structural Steel Machine
We were awarded the job to fully export pack the machine detailed above. The machine in question is a large saw for cutting structural steel, weighing in at 16000kg. As you can see this cargo was out of gauge both on the width & height. This was the main reason why the cargo was fully cased to give it protection in transit as it would be open to the elements while in transit on a flat rack. This kind of packing is also practical for break bulk cargo, giving superior protection and improved handling capability. This job was packed on site at our customers premises, but we are also able to receive and pack this kind of cargo at our works.
